This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality, patient-centred mental health care in a specialist inpatient setting.

The Opportunity
Working within an inpatient mental health unit, you'll support patients experiencing a range of acute and complex mental health conditions.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Providing comprehensive mental health assessments and individualised nursing care.
- Supporting patients experiencing depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia and other psychiatric conditions.
- Conducting risk assessments, mental state examinations and ongoing patient monitoring.
- Administering medications and monitoring treatment responses.
- Supporting patients through crisis intervention, recovery planning and therapeutic engagement.
- Working collaboratively with psychiatrists, psychologists, allied health professionals and nursing colleagues.




- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and contributing to discharge planning.

About You

- Qualified Registered Nurse with experience in inpatient mental health or psychiatric nursing.
- Currently registered with AHPRA or eligible to obtain Australian nursing registration.
- Strong clinical assessment, risk management and communication skills.
- Experience working within acute mental health, adult psychiatry or specialist inpatient services.
- Commitment to recovery-focused, trauma-informed and person-centred care.
- Seeking employer sponsorship through the Subclass 482 visa.
