Wattle Hotel is seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Manager to join our team on a full-time basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the management and supervision of hotel operations, including functions, bars, gaming room operations, bistro, children's area and retail stores.

This position requires strong leadership, excellent customer service skills and a thorough understanding of hospitality operations and relevant regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
- Plan and supervise functions, bars, gaming room operations, bistro, children's area and retail stores.
- Supervise the provision of security services across the licensed premises in accordance with hotel licence conditions.
- Ensure compliance with liquor, gaming and other relevant legislative requirements.
- Assess and review customer satisfaction to maintain high service standards.
- Train, supervise and schedule staff to support daily hotel operations.




- Supervise security personnel and manage the overall safety of the hotel.
- Monitor stock levels and manage orders for necessary supplies.

Skills and Experience
The successful candidate will demonstrate:

- Strong leadership and customer service skills.
- Enthusiasm and commitment to the hospitality and service industry.
- Previous experience in a supervisory role.
- Knowledge of weekly accounts and payroll processes.
- Understanding of trial balances, profit and loss statements, budgeting and strategies to improve profitability.
- Thorough knowledge of workplace health and safety, food hygiene, licensing requirements and employment legislation.
- Effective planning, organisational and time management skills.

Permanent Full Time role with $79K - $85K (plus super)
