Truck and Dog Driver HC

Location: Bohle, Townsville QLD
Pay Rate: $41.00 per hour + penalties
Start Date: 3 November 2026 Immediate start available
Roster: Monday to Friday
Employment Type: Casual

About the Role

WorkPac is seeking a reliable and competent HC Truck and Dog Driver to transport soil, gravel and spoil for local concrete and civil construction projects. This role is suited to a safety-conscious driver who can confidently operate a truck and dog combination.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate a truck and dog combination to transport bulk materials.
- Safely load, transport and tip soil, gravel and spoil.
- Complete daily vehicle inspections and safety checks.
- Ensure loads are secure and handled safely.
- Complete required paperwork and maintain accurate records.
- Keep the vehicle clean and well maintained.
- Follow all site safety procedures and road regulations.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Current HC Drivers Licence mandatory
- Construction White Card mandatory
- Confidence and competency operating a truck and dog combination.
- A solid commitment to workplace health and safety.
- Good communication skills and a reliable work ethic.

Skills & Experience Required

- Current HC Drivers Licence held for a minimum of 3 years.
- Current Construction White Card.
- Demonstrated confidence and competency operating a truck and dog combination.




- Experience transporting and tipping bulk materials, including soil, gravel and spoil.
- Ability to complete vehicle inspections, secure loads and maintain required paperwork.
- Strong understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
- Ability to pass Pre-Employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol Screening.

Mandatory Requirements

- Current HC Drivers Licence.
- Construction White Card.
- Ability to pass Drug and Alcohol Screening.
