An opportunity to take ownership of facilities and accommodation operations within a large, established Australian business.

We are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee a diverse portfolio of operational properties and staff accommodation, ensuring sites are well maintained, compliant and operating effectively.

This is a varied, hands-on role where you'll work closely with operational teams, contractors and external service providers to manage the day-to-day running of properties while supporting ongoing improvements and future developments across the portfolio.

The Role

You will be responsible for the management and coordination of facilities and property operations, including:

- Overseeing the day-to-day management of staff accommodation and operational properties.
- Managing property maintenance, repairs, preventative maintenance schedules and general upkeep.
- Coordinating contractors, trades, cleaners and external service providers.
- Managing property inspections, compliance requirements and associated documentation.
- Overseeing service agreements, contractor performance and maintenance expenditure.
- Ensuring accommodation facilities are maintained to an appropriate standard and meet the needs of employees and operational teams.
- Identifying maintenance requirements, improvements and opportunities to enhance existing facilities.
- Supporting property upgrades, refurbishments and future development projects.
- Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and ensuring facilities issues are addressed in a timely manner.

About You

You'll be a practical and organised Facilities Manager with experience overseeing multiple properties, accommodation sites or operational facilities.

You'll ideally bring:





- Previous experience in facilities, property or accommodation management.
- Experience coordinating contractors, trades and external service providers.
- A good understanding of property maintenance, building compliance and workplace health and safety.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple sites and competing priorities.
- The confidence to work autonomously and take ownership of issues from start to finish.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with a range of stakeholders.
- A hands-on approach and willingness to get out on-site and understand operational requirements.

Experience within mining, hospitality, tourism, staff accommodation or other multi-site operational environments would be advantageous.
