Troocoo is proudly partnering with a highly regarded global organisation to appoint a People & Culture Officer to join their established People & Culture team on a 12-month fixed term contract, starting ASAP.

This is an excellent opportunity for a People & Culture Officer who enjoys being at the heart of the employee experience, working across a broad range of HR activities and partnering with people at all levels of an organisation.

This is not simply a transactional HR role. You’ll be part of a collaborative People & Culture function, providing trusted first-point-of-contact support to employees and leaders while also contributing to broader HR initiatives, process improvements and projects.

About the opportunity
Working within a People & Culture shared services environment, you will provide high-quality operational and generalist HR support across the employee lifecycle.

Your day-to-day will include:

- Providing responsive and practical support to employees and leaders across a broad range of P&C; queries
- Supporting key employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, internal mobility, promotions, leave, parental leave and separations
- Providing guidance on P&C; policies, employment conditions and benefits
- Maintaining accurate employee records and HR systems, ensuring a high level of data integrity and compliance
- Supporting performance and reward processes and other key P&C; initiatives
- Working across areas including mobility, contractor engagements and employee documentation
- Contributing to process improvement and identifying opportunities to make P&C; services more efficient and effective
- Supporting broader projects, organisational change and continuous improvement initiatives





You’ll have the opportunity to develop a strong understanding of a sophisticated P&C; function while working alongside experienced HR professionals across the wider business.

About you
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in delivering a high level of service and is naturally curious about how things work.

You’ll ideally bring:

- 3+ years’ experience in a P&C; Officer, HR Officer or similar generalist HR role
- Experience within financial services, professional services or another highly regulated environment will be highly regarded
- A genuine interest in HR and a solid understanding of the employee lifecycle
- Strong administration, organisation and attention to detail
- Confidence responding to HR queries and working with stakeholders across different levels
- The ability to interpret and apply HR policies and relevant employment legislation
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Experience working with HRIS platforms and confidence picking up new systems quickly
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach and an interest in continuous improvement
- A tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline, completed or underway
