Position: Chef

Position Type: Full-Time

Salary: $82,000 plus superannuation per annum

Location: Yarraville VIC 3013

Our client, Eleni's Kitchen and Bar Pty Ltd is seeking a passionate and experienced Chef to join their team located in Yarraville, Victoria.

Key responsibilities include:

- Prepare and cook a variety of meals in line with recipes and quality standards
- Ensure consistent presentation and taste of all dishes
- Always maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen
- Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are strictly followed
- Work collaboratively as part of a team to deliver high-quality meals efficiently
- Assist in menu planning, development, and seasonal updates
- Monitor food stock levels and place orders as required




- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations
- Train and supervise kitchen staff when required
- Minimise food waste and manage portion control effectively.

Requirements:

- Certificate IV In Commercial Cookery (Diploma preferred)
- At least two (2) years of relevant experience as a Chef
- Proven experience in a fast-paced work environment
- Robust knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Strong teamwork and communication abilities
- Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays.
