Project Manager – Structural Steel | Cairns
$120K – $160K + super | Permanent, full-time

Looking for a PM role where you run multiple projects end-to-end and have real commercial ownership? This is one.

The company
An established North Queensland business specialising in structural steel fabrication, construction and roofing. It delivers large commercial, industrial and infrastructure projects across the region, and has a strong local reputation and a steady pipeline of work.

The role
Reporting to the Construction Manager, you’ll own the commercial and operational delivery of multiple projects from start to handover. You’ll:

- Manage budgets, forecasts, variations, cash flow and progress claims
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams
- Keep programs on track and solve problems before they become problems
- Make sure projects meet contract, quality and WHS requirements




- Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders

About you

- Project management experience in structural steel
- Solid commercial and financial skills
- Experience running multiple projects at once
- Solid knowledge of construction contracts
- A confident communicator and negotiator
- A trade or tertiary qualification in Construction, Engineering or similar is preferred
