Your Opportunity

As our Operational Risk Advisor, you’ll join our Group Risk & Compliance team and support the business in effectively identifying, assessing and managing operational risk.

You’ll act as a trusted advisor across Cuscal, providing practical risk guidance and independent Line 2 assurance while helping embed solid risk frameworks and processes across the organisation. You’ll also contribute to non-financial risk reporting for management committees and the Board.

You’ll make an impact by:

- Conducting independent Line 2 assurance reviews of operational incidents and issues.
- Partnering with business units to assess and manage operational risks and strengthen controls.
- Analysing operational risk data to identify trends and provide meaningful insights.




- Supporting the management and resolution of operational incidents, issues and control gaps.
- Working with the business to develop practical action plans following assurance reviews.
- Supporting root cause analysis and identifying trends across operational incidents and issues.
- Reporting monthly Key Risk Indicators for non-financial risk.
- Reviewing and maintaining Board-approved non-financial risk policies.
- Liaising with auditors to support the closure of audit findings.
- Contributing to risk education, training and broader risk uplift initiatives across Cuscal.
