We're partnering with an exciting, growing AI-driven technology start-up that's building an innovative, conversational platform designed to transform the way people search for, plan and book travel.

They're looking for a talented, hands-on Senior AI Engineer with strong commercial Generative AI experience to help build, scale and enhance their AI-powered platform.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business at an early stage, work directly with the founder and have a genuine say in technical direction, architecture and product decisions.

The Chance

You'll take ownership of designing, building and improving sophisticated AI agents and the infrastructure that supports them, developing reliable, scalable solutions that integrate with real-world systems and deliver meaningful outcomes for customers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Designing and building production-grade AI agents and agentic workflows using Python, LLMs and frameworks such as LangGraph.
- Developing agent orchestration, context engineering, memory, tool calling and MCP integrations.
- Building robust backend services and integrating AI agents with external APIs and transactional systems.
- Improving agent reliability, performance, observability and evaluation, including handling failures and complex workflows.
- Working closely with the founder to shape technical decisions, solve problems and turn ideas into working solutions.

What We're Looking For:





- Strong Python engineering skills and commercial experience building and deploying Generative AI / LLM-powered applications.
- Hands-on experience developing AI agents, agentic workflows and tool-using LLM systems in production.
- Experience with technologies such as LangGraph, LangChain, MCP, FastAPI, PostgreSQL and API integrations, or equivalent.
- A solid understanding of LLM orchestration, context management, persistent memory, evaluation and production reliability.
- Most importantly, a proactive, driven, "go getter" attitude. Someone who takes ownership, has opinions, challenges ideas, contributes to decisions and genuinely enjoys getting things done!
