Company: ConsultANZ is looking for Civil Engineers (SE,PE,SPE) in South Island, NZ. The project is a $150M of Datacenter project which involves earthworks, pavements, drainage, utilities, and foundations.
Main Duties:
- Managing day-to-day engineering activities across the project
- Coordinating earthworks, pavements, drainage, utilities and foundation works
- Reviewing technical drawings, specifications and project documentation
- Managing subcontractors and coordinating site activities
- Preparing and managing QA documentation, ITPs and inspections
- Monitoring project progress, costs, variations and programmed
- Supporting procurement and subcontractor management
- Liaising with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal teams
- Ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards
- Identifying and resolving technical and construction issues on site
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Previous experience as a Civil Engineer within civil construction
- Experience delivering major civil infrastructure or commercial projects
- Strong experience with earthworks, pavements, drainage and utilities
- Positive understanding of QA, ITPs, technical documentation and project controls
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and project delivery
