Hunter New England Local Health District is seeking a confident Locum ED Registrar In-Charge to support Emergency Department operations across regional hospital settings.

This role is ideal for a PGY4+ ED Registrar wanting strong earning potential, senior shift responsibility and full locum support.

You will lead the ED team during rostered shifts, manage acute presentations, supervise JMOs and escalate to consultants or retrieval services when required.

Key Duties

- Lead ED shifts and support patient flow
- Manage acute, trauma and resus presentations
- Supervise junior doctors
- Liaise with inpatient teams, consultants and retrieval services
- Complete clinical documentation and handover

Requirements

- Current AHPRA General Registration
- PGY4+ with Emergency Medicine experience
- NSW Working with Children Check and Police Check
- Willingness to complete e-learning and credentialing
