Join our friendly team in Armidale as a Medical Receptionist. This casual role offers shifts from Monday to Friday, between the hours of 8.00am-5.00pm, with schedules determined by operational requirements.

As a Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, playing an important role in creating a positive and professional patient experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Greeting patients warmly and assisting with check-in procedures.

- Answering emails and phone calls promptly and handling inquiries professionally.

- Advising patients of preparation prior to relevant scans.

- Billing procedures – private, Medicare, workers compensation, DVA, hospital billing and private health fund billings.

- Collaborating with clerical and technical staff, radiologists, and referrers.

What we’re looking for:

✅ Previous experience in the medical industry would be highly advantageous.

✅ Clear verbal and written communication skills.

✅ Experience with interventional bookings and procedures.

✅ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

✅ Strong organisational abilities to manage appointments and patient flow.

✅ Relevant reception experience.

✅ Confidence working across multiple screens and systems.
