We're partnering with a leading renewable energy business seeking an experienced Assistant Accountant to join their Sydney CBD team on a 6-month temp basis.

Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, you'll support a broad range of financial accounting and reporting activities, with exposure to multiple entities and large-scale renewable energy projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Process invoices and maintain accurate financial records
- Assist with payment runs, banking activities and payment schedules.
- Support month-end and year-end accounting and financial reporting.
- Assist with statutory audits and tax compliance requirements.
- Provide general accounting support and assist with ad-hoc finance tasks

About You

- CA/CPA qualified or nearing completion.
- A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
- At least 2 years' experience in an Assistant Accountant position.
- Renewable energy, infrastructure or project accounting experience would be advantageous.
