Pipe Fitter - Brisbane Workshop Engineering Trades Australia are currently recruiting experienced Pipe Fitters for a busy Brisbane based workshop.

This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing work with consistent hours in a professional workshop environment, working on a variety of industrial piping projects.

THE ROLE As a Pipe Fitter, you will be responsible for the fabrication, assembly and installation of industrial piping systems, ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.

Duties may include:

- Reading and interpreting isometric and technical drawings
- Measuring, cutting and preparing pipework
- Pipe spool fabrication and fit up
- Flange alignment and bolt up
- Preparing pipework for welding
- Working with carbon steel and stainless steel pipe systems
- Pipe assembly and installation
- General workshop fabrication activities
- Using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Maintaining quality, safety and production standards

- Trade qualified Pipe Fitter or equivalent experience
- Strong pipe fitting and fabrication background
- Experience reading isometric drawings
- Experience with carbon steel and stainless steel pipework
- Workshop or industrial project experience
- Solid commitment to safety and quality
- Reliable and able to work effectively within a team
