We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Carpenter to join our growing team and support our ongoing construction and refurbishment projects across Sydney.

Responsibilities:

Perform carpentry work across commercial fit-out, refurbishment and construction projects, including timber framing, wall partitions, installation of doors and timber fixtures, interior finishing, and supporting structures for facade and cladding systems, while ensuring compliance with building standards and safety requirements.

Job duties:

Read and interpret construction drawings, plans and specifications to determine carpentry requirements.

Measure, cut, shape and assemble timber and other building materials using hand and power tools.





Construct and install timber frameworks, wall partitions, ceiling structures and supporting frames.

Perform carpentry work for commercial fit-out, refurbishment and interior construction projects.

Install doors, door frames, skirting boards, architraves, cabinetry and other timber fixtures.

Construct and install framing and support structures associated with facade and cladding works.

Carry out repairs, alterations and finishing carpentry work on existing structures.

Ensure all carpentry work complies with relevant building standards, project specifications and workplace safety requirements.

Coordinate with site supervisors and other tradespeople to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard.

Requirements:

Relevant qualification in Carpentry.

Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience as a Carpenter.

Experience in commercial fit-out, refurbishment or general construction carpentry.

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

Competency in using carpentry hand tools, power tools and equipment.

Good understanding of construction methods and workplace safety requirements.

Robust attention to detail and ability to work independently and within a team.
