Morpeth Farms is an established horticultural production and fresh-produce enterprise operating at Worrinen, Victoria. We are seeking a reliable Irrigation Assistant to help operate and maintain irrigation systems and support day-to-day production.

Key Responsibilities

Key responsibilities

- Operate and monitor irrigation and fertigation systems
- Assist with installation, repair and maintenance of irrigation infrastructure
- Monitor soil moisture and water application and report faults
- Assist with general production tasks as required
- Follow WHS requirements and use personal protective equipment

Skill & Experience

About you

- A relevant AQF Certificate II (or equivalent) and at least 1 year’s relevant experience; or at least 2 years’ relevant experience
- Practical mechanical aptitude
- Able to work outdoors across a range of conditions
- Able to follow directions and work in a team




- Reliable and safety-focused
- Applicants must currently be physically located in Australia.
- Only onshore applicants with unrestricted or lawful Australian work rights will be considered.
- Applicants must be willing to relocate to regional Victoria (Woorinen VIC 3589).
- Applications from overseas candidates will not be considered.
- This role is located in a regional farming environment and requires relocation to the region

Remuneration & hours

- Salary package: from $71,550 per annum plus superannuation (paid in accordance with the Horticulture Award 2020 (MA000028); commensurate with skills and experience)
- Full time, ongoing position
