The Role

Working as part of an established maintenance team you'll be responsible for maintaining production equipment, minimising downtime and ensuring machinery operates safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities





- Electrical breakdown response, fault finding and repairs
- Carrying out preventative and scheduled maintenance
- Diagnosing electrical, instrumentation and automation faults
- Maintaining PLC-controlled production machinery and automated systems
- Troubleshooting VSDs, motors, control circuits and electrical systems
- Reading and navigating PLC programs to identify and resolve faults
- Supporting continuous improvement and plant reliability initiatives

About You

- Current Queensland or Australian Electrical Licence
- Current CPR/LVR cert
- Previous experience within FMCG, food processing or manufacturing environments
- Strong electrical fault-finding and breakdown maintenance capabilities
- Ability to read, navigate and troubleshoot PLC programs
- Exposure to Allen Bradley, Siemens and/or Schneider PLC systems
- Experience with VSDs, motor controls and industrial automation
- SCADA exposure or PLC programming experience will be highly regarded
