Senior Solution Architect

Melbourne, VIC | 6-Month Contract + Extension Option | Federal Government

The Opportunity

Akkodis is seeking an experienced Senior Solution Architect to support a major transformation program within the Government. This role will lead the architecture and design of a modern Transcript Ordering and Payment System (TOPS), ensuring secure, scalable and user-centred digital service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end solution architecture across applications, integrations, data, identity and security.
- Translate business and user requirements into solution designs and technical roadmaps.
- Design integrations, APIs, payment services and cloud-based solutions.
- Define non-functional requirements including security, accessibility, resilience and performance.
- Provide architecture governance, technical leadership and vendor evaluation support.

About You

- Strong background in Azure,



Microsoft 365, Power Platform and integration architectures.
- Experience designing secure, scalable and user-focused solutions.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- TOGAF, Azure Solutions Architect or equivalent certification highly regarded.
- Australian Government experience highly desirable.

- Current Baseline Security Clearance.
- Ability to work on-site in Melbourne as required.
