Electrical Commissioning Supervisor (S26) | FIFO Perth | 2:1 Roster Hours: 12-hour days Start: ASAP or when available Duration: Initial 12-month contract with strong potential for extension We are seeking an experienced Electrical Commissioning Supervisor (S26) to lead the safe and efficient commissioning and energisation of electrical systems on a major iron ore project in the Pilbara. Working closely with engineering, construction and operations teams, you will oversee testing, commissioning and system handovers while ensuring compliance with project requirements, Australian Standards and site safety procedures. Key Responsibilities Commissioning & Energisation Lead commissioning and energisation activities across HV/LV electrical systems. Oversee testing of switchgear, transformers, MCCs, substations and control systems. Validate test results, resolve technical issues and support system handovers. Project Delivery Coordinate commissioning schedules in line with construction milestones. Review drawings, procedures and commissioning documentation. Work closely with engineering, construction and HSE teams to ensure project readiness. Leadership & Supervision Lead and mentor electricians, commissioning personnel and subcontractors. Manage daily commissioning activities, work allocation and quality outcomes. Provide technical support while promoting a safe and accountable work culture. Safety & Compliance Fulfil S26 Statutory Supervisor responsibilities.



Ensure all works comply with site procedures, permit systems and electrical standards. Lead pre-starts, toolbox talks and safety initiatives. Quality & Documentation Ensure installations meet project requirements and Australian Standards. Complete commissioning records, test documentation and handover packages. Manage defect rectification, closeout activities and progress reporting. What We're Looking For Mandatory Current S26 Statutory Supervisor Qualification WA Electrical Licence Electrical Trade Qualification or Degree in Electrical Engineering Minimum 10 years' experience in electrical commissioning within mining or heavy industrial projects Previous FIFO experience in remote site environments Strong HV/LV commissioning experience Highly Desirable HV Switching Ticket Iron ore project experience Experience with substations, switchgear, transformers, MCCs and protection systems Experience leading commissioning and energisation activities through to final handover Why Apply?
