Area Manager – Commercial Cleaning

We’re seeking a proactive Area Manager to support the Managing Director in maintaining high-quality cleaning standards across multiple commercial sites throughout Queensland.

This is a hands-on role involving regular site visits, support for cleaning teams and contractors, and practical assistance to keep services running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

- Support the Managing Director in maintaining consistent cleaning quality across all sites.

- Oversee cleaners and cleaning contractors, providing guidance and support.

- Conduct regular site inspections and follow up on any issues identified.

- Assist with operational cover when staff shortages arise.

- Monitor cleaning supplies and equipment, and help ensure sites are adequately stocked.

- Help maintain secure work environments and follow company work health and safety (WHS) policies and procedures.

- Identify opportunities to improve service delivery, cleaning standards and operational efficiency.

- Communicate effectively with site teams, contractors, clients and management.





About you

- Experience in commercial cleaning, facilities services or a similar operational role.

- Confidence supporting cleaning teams and coordinating contractors across multiple sites.

- Strong organisation, communication and problem-solving skills.

- A practical, hands-on approach and the ability to work independently.

- A current driver licence and willingness to travel throughout Queensland.

- Australian work rights.
