Registered Psychologist for Business Owners | Contractor

Rethink Psychology is a private clinic in Greenslopes, Brisbane, supporting business owners, entrepreneurs and professionals to look after their mental health and move past the barriers holding them back. Our clients are often high-achieving, time-poor and used to carrying a lot on their own. We offer a calming, private space where they can focus on what matters most: themselves and their health.

Practicing from a client-centred lens, we use evidence-based therapy and psychometric measures to guide us, and we make sessions practical so people leave feeling good and armed with tools they can use straight away. We love what we do, and we hope that comes through.

What you will do

Complete thorough and specialised intake assessments and develop individualised treatment plans

Maintain accurate and timely clinical records and complete all necessary reporting including but not limited to Medicare, NDIS, and DVA

Deliver therapeutic intervention using evidence-based methods including CBT, ACT, DBT, EMDR, and SFT

Consistently use psychometric measures to monitor progress and be guided by numbers

Practice in line with the Code of Conduct for Psychologists

About you

AHPRA Registration as general Psychologist or endorsed psychologist

Qualified Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance

Current Australian Business Number

GST Registration if required





Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills in line with the Code of Conduct

Values of respect (especially respect in diversity), professionalism, authenticity, compassion, and curiosity for learning

Experience or interest in working with business owners and professionals (including having experience in running a business, experience or knowledge in organisational psychology, coaching or business ownership)

Desired - Interest in administering psychological assessments

Desired - EMDR training and experience

Administrative support including client onboarding, scheduling, and billing

Access to the highest standard of Australian software to support your practice (client management system, outcome monitoring, client communication systems, and safe documentation keeping)

Working in a clinic with a solid reputation, giving you access to quality referrers and client base

Warm and welcoming therapeutic space

Flexibility with offering Telehealth sessions

Contractor split ranging from 60-70%

Option to start immediately or in early 2027

Option to engage in regular supervision with the Director and gain guidance to reach your career goals
