We are seeking a kind-hearted, responsible person to live with an elderly couple in their comfortable three-bedroom home in Arundel on the Gold Coast.

The lady of the house requires some basic day-to-day assistance, companionship and general support. This is NOT a nursing position, and no medical qualifications are required.

WHAT THE ROLE INVOLVES

Providing companionship and friendly support to an elderly lady.

Assisting with basic everyday activities when needed.

Helping with occasional meal preparation and light household duties.

Providing assistance with shopping, outings and appointments.

Being a friendly, caring and supportive presence in the home.

WHAT WE OFFER

WHO WOULD SUIT THIS POSITION?

Ideally, someone who is:

Naturally caring, patient, honest and compassionate.

Reliable, respectful and easy to get along with.

Comfortable living in a family home.

Happy to assist with light everyday tasks and companionship.

A licensed driver, preferably with previous caring or support experience.

Previous experience with elderly people would be an advantage, but a genuine caring personality is the most important quality.

Working hours, duties, time off and additional remuneration will be discussed and agreed upon with the successful applicant.

LOCATION: Arundel, Gold Coast, Queensland.
