Rasak Legal is a growing law firm with offices in Sydney CBD and Merrylands. We’re looking for an experienced, versatile solicitor to join us full time as a Principal Lawyer and lead our general practice.

What you’ll do

- Act as a principal of the practice, supervising legal work and ensuring compliance with the Legal Profession Uniform Law and Law Society of NSW requirements
- Run a broad general practice, which may include family law, conveyancing and property, wills and estates, commercial and contracts, employment, local court criminal and traffic, and general civil disputes
- Meet clients, give advice and manage files from start to finish
- Attend both offices as required, plus court and tribunal appearances
- Help build the firm’s client base and reputation

Essential

- Admitted in NSW, holding an unrestricted practising certificate
- Minimum 2 years’ post-admission experience
- Eligible to act as principal,



including completion of an approved Practice Management Course (or willing to complete it promptly)
- Broad general practice experience and confidence handling a range of matter types
- Able to work full time and attend both the Sydney CBD and Merrylands offices
- Solid client communication skills and sound judgement

Highly regarded

- Experience running files independently in a small or suburban practice
- Proficiency with LEAP and Microsoft 365
- A second language, such as Arabic, Mandarin, Cantonese, Dari or Turkish
