Hotel F & B Manager – Kellerberrin Hotel Motel

We are busy family owned – Kellerberrin Hotel Motel - 2.5 hrs of Perth in the Wheatbelt town of Kellerberrin. Kellerberrin is one of the Wheatbelts most iconic venues.

Key Responsibilities

- Hire new staff, leading, mentoring, and motivating a team of bartenders, hosts and food runner
- Support menu planning, wine selection and organize function/events
- Serve customer, oversee bar operation, reservation of hotel room, ensure satisfaction of customer/guest experience
- Driving a culture of professionalism, energy, and hospitality at the highest standard
- Managing ordering, cost of good, rosters, labor costs, working closely with chef and operational budgets in line with business targets
- Ensuring compliance with all licensing, safety, and workplace requirements
- Assist kitchen and other work on ad hock base as required
- Cash handling, daily sales report and other administrative work
- Send report to owner about summary of admin work for each shift
- Grow business including event/function, room occupancy etc
- Promote the Hotel as being a good corporate citizen.




- Ensure reports diffuse and/or resolve disputes or customer complaints
- Regularly review the selling price and charged to the Hotel’s clients/customers/end users and by it service provider(s) to ensure that they continue to deliver adequate profit margins to the Hotel whilst remaining competitive against the prices offered by the Hotel’s competitors.
- Management and overseeing of stock and product, do stocktake,
- Responsible for co-ordinating the smooth functioning and operation of the Hotel in the F & B Section
- Identify and make recommendations to the Directors on prospective business growth opportunities consistent with the Hotel business mission objectives and strategic plan(s)
- Sales, Promotional activities and Operating Expenses kept within agreed budgets.
- Where necessary, act as the nominated person in charge of the Hotel.

About you

· 1 to 2 relevant experience

· Basic wine knowledge is required to effectively support operations

· Need to be ready and co-operative to relocate for other business of owner if required

· Drive for necessary work/ad hock task for owner

· RSA certification and Approved Manager card of WA (candidate need to do this if it is not ready)

· Need to have knowledge of point of sale system (PoS) and reservation of hotel room and able to advice us to improve PoS and reservation system

· Stock take knowledge
