Our client is an established organisation operating within the manufacturing and consumer products sector, with operations across multiple locations. An opportunity has become available for an experienced Payroll Specialist to take ownership of the payroll function, working closely with Finance and People & Culture.

About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Finance, this is a stand‑alone position responsible for overseeing payroll operations, ensuring compliance and maintaining the accuracy and integrity of payroll information.





The business operates an outsourced payroll model, so rather than processing every pay run yourself, you'll coordinate with the external payroll provider, oversee payroll activities, manage reconciliations and resolve payroll queries. You'll be the internal payroll subject matter expert, with support and back‑up available from the Finance team.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Coordinating payroll activities with the outsourced payroll provider, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time
- Reviewing payroll reports, reconciliations and variances
