General Sonographer | Mooroolbark, Melbourne's Outer East | Permanent Full-Time

A privately owned, doctor-led imaging clinic in Melbourne's outer east is opening its third ultrasound room and is looking for an experienced general sonographer to join a small, genuinely supportive team.

This is a brand new, purpose-built, state-of-the-art practice. The owners have deliberately built it to be a good place to work rather than a numbers factory - and they have backed that up with appointment times, equipment and staffing to match.

What you will be doing

General sonography across a mixed private caseload, helping bring the third room online, clear worklists and meet solid local demand for same-day ultrasound. You will be supported, not thrown in - but you will be trusted to scan independently from day one.

What you will need

- ASAR accredited (or eligible for accreditation) sonographer
- Around 1-2 years' post-qualification general sonography experience as a minimum - more is very welcome
- Comfortable with general ultrasound; no sub-specialty training required
- A collaborative approach and genuine care for patient experience

Please note: this role is not suitable for new graduates - the clinic needs someone who can scan independently in the third room from the outset. A separate trainee position is planned for next year.
