Reporting to senior leadership, you will play a key role in protecting and advancing the interests of EQUANS while enabling the business to innovate, grow and take calculated commercial opportunities with confidence.About The RoleAs Legal Counsel, you will lead the provision of legal advice and services across the EQUANS Services business. You will provide practical, commercially focused guidance on a broad range of legal, governance, compliance and regulatory matters while supporting strategic growth initiatives, acquisitions and major commercial transactions. You will be a key contributor to business decision-making, helping leaders navigate risk, strengthen governance frameworks and achieve commercial objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide high-quality, timely and commercially focused legal advice across all areas of the businessProtect the interests of EQUANS through expert guidance on commercial law, contractual arrangements and business operationsAdvise on mergers, acquisitions,



strategic partnerships and new commercial venturesReview, draft, negotiate and manage a wide range of contracts and transactional documentationPartner with leaders across the organisation to deliver practical legal solutions that support agile and informed decision-makingAssist the CEO and executive team in meeting corporate governance, compliance and ethical obligationsDevelop, implement and maintain legal policies, compliance frameworks and governance processesAnalyse legal risks and provide strategic recommendations to minimise exposure and support business growthMonitor legislative and regulatory developments, providing guidance on emerging legal and compliance requirementsLead legal input into tender submissions, commercial transactions and operational mattersManage relationships with external legal advisors, specialists and consultantsRepresent EQUANS in commercial negotiations and, where required, before tribunals and courtsDeliver legal education and guidance to stakeholders across the businessAbout YouYou are a commercially minded legal professional who enjoys building relationships, influencing business outcomes and finding practical solutions to complex challenges.
