Project Manager / Estimator
Demolition, Remediation & Hazardous Materials

An established and growing specialist demolition sub-contractor is looking to bring an experienced Project Manager / Estimator into its Sydney team.
Working across a diverse portfolio of demolition, hazardous materials, asbestos removal and remediation projects, this is an opportunity to join a business with an exciting pipeline of work and the ambition to continue growing.

This is a flexible prospect suited to someone with a background in Project Management, Estimating or Project Coordination. The business is open to shaping the position around the successful candidate's strengths, experience and career aspirations.

The Opportunity
Depending on your experience and skill set, your responsibilities may include:

- Preparing accurate and competitive tenders, quotations and project estimates.
- Managing projects from initial planning through to completion and handover.
- Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, labour and site resources.
- Monitoring project budgets, costs, variations and overall commercial performance.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
- Identifying project risks and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to specification.




- Working closely with senior management to improve operational processes and drive business performance.

About You
We're interested in speaking with candidates who have:

- At least 5 years' relevant industry experience.
- A background in demolition, hazardous materials, asbestos removal, remediation or associated construction environments.
- Experience in Project Management, Estimating or Project Coordination.
- Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of project financials.
- Excellent communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive approach with the ability to take ownership and solve problems independently.
