About the role

As a Chef De Partie at Boatshed Market, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day operations of our renowned restaurant and market in the beachside suburb of Cottesloe, Western Australia. You will work as part of a skilled culinary team dedicated to delivering exceptional dining experiences to our customers. This is a full-time, in-person position.

What you'll do

- Prepare high-quality dishes to the restaurant's exacting standards
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised kitchen environment
- Assist the Head Chef with menu planning, food cost management and inventory control
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to uphold the restaurant's culinary excellence
- Contribute to a positive and team-oriented team dynamic in the kitchen
- Ensure all food preparation and service adheres to relevant health and safety regulations

About you
- A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Chef De Partie or in an equivalent role in a high-quality restaurant
- Strong technical cooking skills and a passion for creating innovative, flavoursome dishes
- Excellent time management,



multitasking and problem-solving abilities
- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to high food safety and hygiene standards
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Relevant formal culinary qualifications (e.g. Certificate III in Commercial Cookery); education at Certificate I to IV level is preferred
