Infinite AV Solutions

Sydney

Love seeing an install come together and a client’s face when everything just works? Infinite AV Solutions is looking for an energetic, hard-working AV Technician to install, program and troubleshoot systems for schools, businesses and hospitality venues. You’ll take pride in your work and be ready to get stuck in.

About us

Infinite AV Solutions has been delivering AV for schools, businesses and hospitality venues across Sydney since 2019, and we’re only getting started. We’ve grown steadily, but we’ve kept the startup energy: a small, close-knit team that backs each other, moves quick and genuinely enjoys the work.

About the role

This is a hands-on role installing a wide range of projects, from full classroom fit-outs and meeting room video conferencing systems to PA systems, LED walls, halls and theatres. Projects regularly involve mounting and installing equipment such as large TVs, displays and racks, and working at heights. You’ll usually work in a two-person team, with more of the crew joining you on bigger jobs.

You’ll install, configure and commission systems from brands like Crestron, Q-SYS, Extron, Logitech, Poly and Yealink, working to client specifications and our install standards. Before handover, you’ll make sure everything is tested and working. You’ll also be the face of Infinite AV on site, so how you deal with clients matters as much as your technical skills.

You’ll work on client sites from Nowra to Newcastle, and beyond, with most jobs around Sydney. There’s occasional interstate travel, always with advance notice. A company car with fuel and tolls covered is included.

What you’ll do

AV Installations & Programming

- Install AV systems in classrooms, meeting rooms, halls, theatres and more, to our standards and with close attention to detail
- Mount and install equipment such as large-format TVs, displays, racks and LED walls
- Install and configure PA systems, video conferencing and control systems
- Program and configure systems to client specifications and requirements
- Test and troubleshoot installations to make sure everything performs at its best

Customer Service & Communication

- Build positive relationships with clients and handle questions or concerns promptly
- Explain technical solutions clearly and professionally
- Make sure every client is happy with the finished install & provide appropriate onsite training

Job Site Management

- Keep a clean, organised work area and look after tools and equipment
- Follow safety protocols and industry regulations on site, including safe lifting practices
- Work closely with your teammate, and the wider crew on larger jobs, to keep things running smoothly

What you’ll bring

- Hands-on experience with AV system installation, programming and troubleshooting
- Experience with Crestron, Q-SYS, Extron, Logitech, Poly,

Yealink or similar is highly regarded
- A good level of fitness, as the role regularly involves lifting and mounting equipment
- An energetic, hard-working attitude: you show up, get stuck in and take ownership
- The ability to read technical drawings and client specifications
- Consistency and attention to detail, so every install meets the same high standard
- Great communication and customer service skills
- A team player who’s also confident working independently and managing your own tasks
- Comfort working at heights safely
- Willingness to travel to sites between Nowra and Newcastle and beyond, plus occasional interstate trips
- A current driver’s licence, whitecard and WWCC

Why join us

- Company car. A work vehicle with fuel and tolls covered.
- Grow with us. We’re a growing business, and there’s real room for you to grow with it.
- A close-knit, energetic team. We work hard, back each other and have fun doing it. No two days are the same.
- No red tape. Decisions get made quickly, by people who are close to the work.
- Variety. From classroom fit-outs and theatres to boardrooms and LED walls, across education, corporate and hospitality. Every job is different.
- Award-winning work. We were named NSW State Winner for Customer Service at the 2026 Australian Achiever Awards, and you’ll be part of keeping that standard.

How to apply

- Send your resume and a short note about an install you’re proud of to [email protected], or hit Apply. Applications close 30th November 2026.
