About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Business Services Accountant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality accounting, taxation, and advisory services to small-to-medium enterprises and high-net-worth clients. You will work directly with managers and partners, gaining hands-on experience and professional development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of financial statements, income tax returns, and BAS/IAS for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships and SMSF.
- Provide tax and business advisory services to a diverse client base.
- Assist in managing client relationships and providing practical solutions to complex business issues.
- Collaborate with senior accountants and partners on project work and advisory engagements.
- Stay up to date with changes in accounting standards and taxation legislation.
About You
- Degree qualified in Accounting, Commerce, or related field.
- Currently undertaking or completed CA/CPA qualification.
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in business services or public practice accounting.
- Strong technical knowledge of Australian taxation and accounting standards.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong client relationships.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g. Xero, MYOB, or similar).
- Self-motivated, organised, and eager to learn.
