Catering Assistant | Glen Waverley | Part-Time - 12 Hours Per Week

Cater Care is seeking a reliable Catering Assistant to join our friendly aged care kitchen team in Glen Waverley.

Working alongside a supportive team, you'll help prepare and serve nutritious, high-quality meals that make a positive difference to residents' daily lives.

Your Role And Responsibilities You'll play an important role in delivering a positive dining experience for residents. Your duties will include:

- Preparing fresh salads, sandwiches and texture-modified meals
- Assisting with meal preparation, plating and service
- Replenishing food and kitchen supplies throughout service
- Maintaining high standards of kitchen cleanliness and hygiene
- Dishwashing and general kitchen duties




- Setting tables and assisting residents during mealtimes

Desired Skills And Experience

What We're Looking For We're Looking For Someone Who Brings a Positive Attitude, a Strong Work Ethic And a Genuine Commitment To Quality Service. Ideally, You'll Have

- Previous food preparation or customer service experience
- Experience in contract catering or aged care (highly regarded)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A professional presentation and a team-focused approach
- The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- A current Police Check and Flu Vaccination, or willingness to obtain these
