Boston Institute is looking for an experienced, highly skilled and passionate IELTS and PTE Trainer to join our academic team at our Sydney CBD campus.

We are particularly interested in professionals who have personally undertaken the IELTS and PTE examination and possess a strong understanding of IELTS and PTE assessment criteria, scoring strategies and effective teaching methodologies.

⭐ PRIORITY WILL BE GIVEN TO FORMER IELTS EXAMINERS

Candidates with previous experience as official IELTS Speaking or Writing Examiners will be highly regarded and given priority consideration.

What We’re Looking For:

✅ Proven experience teaching IELTS Academic and General Training.

✅ Must have personally undertaken the IELTS examination and be able to provide evidence of their results.

✅ Robust knowledge of IELTS band descriptors, scoring criteria and examination strategies.

✅ Ability to deliver high-quality lessons across all four IELTS modules: Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking.

✅ Relevant English language teaching qualifications, such as CELTA, TESOL or equivalent.

✅ Excellent communication, classroom management and student mentoring skills.





✅ A genuine passion for helping students achieve their target IELTS band scores.

? Salary & Employment Benefits

$33.12 – $43.35 per hour + superannuation

Remuneration will depend on qualifications, recognised teaching experience and the applicable classification under the Educational Services (Post-Secondary Education) Award 2020.

This is a permanent part-time position, offering applicable paid leave entitlements, superannuation and opportunities for professional development.
