Litigation Lawyers Sydney | Commercial & Civil Disputes

Role Description

This is a part time, on-site Paralegal role based in North Sydney, NSW. The Paralegal will support our principal solicitor in commercial litigation matters by preparing and formatting legal documents, assisting with court filings, and organising case files and evidence. Daily tasks include conducting legal and factual research, reviewing and summarising documents, maintaining matter timelines, and managing correspondence with external parties.

The role also involves helping prepare briefs and bundles for hearings, and updating internal systems and databases. The Paralegal will work closely with the legal team to ensure accurate,



timely support throughout all stages of litigation.

Qualifications

- Studying or completed a Law degree in Australia
- 1 years' experience working at a law firm, ideally with exposure to commercial litigation or related practise areas (preferred but not required)
- Proficiency in legal document preparation, including drafting, formatting, and filing court and client documents
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally
- Solid Research capabilities for legal, regulatory, and factual investigations supporting litigation matters
- Attention to detail in document review, including identifying key information, inconsistencies, and risks
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Ability to work collaboratively on-site in North Sydney and maintain confidentiality and professional ethics
- Proficiency in using legal databases, Microsoft, Teams, etc (preferred but not required)
