The Role

An exciting opportunity exists for a Project Controller / Project Scheduler to support project and program teams across scheduling, project controls, financial tracking and reporting.

Based in Perth, you will work closely with project and program managers, internal teams and client stakeholders to keep deliverables, timelines, resources, financials and risks on track.

This is an excellent prospect for an experienced coordinator, scheduler or project controls professional looking to broaden their capability and progress towards a senior project controls role. Experience within mining and resources environments will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

Project Controls & Scheduling

- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules
- Manage dependencies, critical paths and resource requirements
- Establish schedule baselines and track deviations through change control
- Develop project timelines and workplans to support effective delivery
- Monitor milestones, risks, dependencies and overall delivery status

Project Methodology & Governance

- Support project teams with delivery methodologies, processes, tools and templates
- Maintain project deliverables and controls
- Coordinate quality assurance activities
- Support effective project governance throughout the delivery lifecycle

Financials & Reporting

- Support project financial management from proposal through to completion




- Maintain forecasts, delivery tracking and project reporting
- Monitor performance against agreed plans and provide accurate status reporting

Stakeholder Coordination

- Coordinate activities across project teams, Back Office, Workforce Planning and other internal functions
- Work closely with project managers, sponsors and client stakeholders
- Clearly communicate project timelines, progress, priorities and emerging issues

What Our Client Requires

Essential

- Experience in project delivery, project coordination, PMO, scheduling or project controls
- Strong project scheduling, tracking and reporting capability
- Experience managing dependencies, milestones, baselines and schedule changes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to coordinate effectively across multiple teams and stakeholders

- Highly Regarded

- Experience supporting large mining or resources clients
- Project controls, project scheduling or delivery operations experience
- Risk management capability
- Experience working across cross-functional stakeholder groups
- Exposure to project or organisational change management
