About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Supervisor to join PPS offering flexible rosters. This is a permanent prospect, with an immediate start available.

Reporting to the Site Superintendent or Construction Manager, you will supervise trades and labour crews delivering piping, civil and earthworks scopes. You’ll coordinate daily activities, manage resources and monitor progress, ensuring works are completed safely, to specifications and in line with the project schedule and budget.

This role suits a practical supervisor with proven experience leading construction crews on mining and resources projects.

Experience in the Pilbara is highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise piping, civil and earthworks crews, allocating tasks and monitoring progress against the project schedule.
- Execute works through work packs, drawings, ITPs, ITRs, SWMS, SWIs and JHAs, coordinating client witness points with the Project Engineer.
- Run daily pre-starts and toolbox meetings, complete pre-start and in-shift work area inspections, and enforce HSEQ requirements, PPE standards and hazard controls.
- Complete daily progress reports, coordinate shift handovers and maintain roster and plant registers.
- Monitor labour and material usage against budget, and resolve scheduling, supply and resource constraints.




- Assist with non-conformance investigations and implement corrective actions.
- Coach and mentor team members, manage conflict and set clear expectations for safety, quality and performance.

About you You will bring proven experience supervising trades and labour work groups on mining or resources construction projects, with a background in piping, civil and earthworks. You’ll be confident coordinating work packs, planning resources and keeping crews working safely and productively.

Essential Requirements

- Schedule 26 – mandatory
- Construction Induction White Card.
- Current manual C class driver’s licence.
- Ability to obtain FMG site inductions.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening.

Desirable qualifications and experience

- Experience on Pilbara projects or FMG sites.
- Certificate IV in Leadership and Management, or equivalent supervisory qualification.
- Current Provide First Aid qualification (HLTAID011).
- Polyethylene (HDPE) butt and electrofusion welding qualifications or experience.
- Earthmoving plant tickets and/or verification of competency.
