About the role

Ridgeline Recruitment is seeking experienced Mobile Processing Unit (MPU) Operators on behalf of our client, an established Australian-owned explosives business.

Working across multiple Western Australian operations, you’ll support drill and blast activities by operating an MPU safely and efficiently, working with a small operational team and helping deliver reliable service to site clients.

Your responsibilities will include

- Operating an MPU and associated equipment in line with site procedures

- Completing pre-start checks, weekly inspections and required documentation

- Assisting with preventative maintenance, routine repairs and fault-finding

- Supporting the team with on-bench activities

- Working closely with site personnel to support safe, efficient operations

- Maintaining high standards of safety, communication and customer service

What you’ll bring

- At least two (2) years’ experience in a similar MPU Operator role

- Current HR driver’s licence

- Current Dangerous Goods Driver’s Licence (DGDL)

- Current WA Dangerous Goods Security Card (DGSC)

- High Risk Work Licence – LF class





- Ability to complete routine maintenance and identify equipment faults

- Understanding of drill and blast production processes

- Strong safety focus, attention to detail and communication skills

- National Police Clearance issued within the past three months, or willingness to obtain one

- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen

- Applicants must be 21 years of age or older

Highly regarded:

- HC or MC driver’s licence

- Previous supervisory experience
