Daniel Yelkovan from ri-kroot is currently recruiting a Junior Project Manager for a well-established electrical contractor based near Murarrie, Brisbane. Full-time permanent.

This suits a foreman, leading hand or site supervisor who knows how a job runs on site and wants to step into the office. You'll work alongside experienced Project Managers and be trained in the commercial and delivery side of electrical projects, with a clear path to running your own jobs.

The role

- Support PMs on commercial electrical projects from start-up to handover
- Build and track programs; coordinate labour, materials and procurement
- Manage subcontractors and suppliers; attend site and client meetings
- Prepare and track variations, RFIs and progress claims
- Review drawings, specs and scopes of work
- Project documentation: WHS, ITPs, QA and handover packs
- Support site teams and act as the link between office and site

What you'll need

- Experience as a foreman, leading hand or site supervisor
- Commercial electrical construction background preferred
- Trade qualification / electrical licence (required)




- Keen to learn the office and PM side; solid computer basics
- Clear communicator with builders, clients and crews
- White Card, driver's licence and full Australian working rights

Nice to have

- Cert IV or Diploma in Project Management (or keen to study)
- Exposure to estimating, quoting or variations
- MS Project and Excel
