Anila Recruitment is a specialist talent agency partnering with purpose-driven organisations across Early Years and Outside School Hours Care (OSHC)
Are you the leader educators turn to when they want to grow? This is a rare chance to shape practice in a service that puts pedagogy first, and to have a real voice in how it's led.
The Pedagogy Lead will join the leadership team at this new service, driving high-quality programming, mentoring teachers and educators, and guiding curriculum planning and implementation to the highest standards, supported by a highly regarded Early Learning provider.
This role isn't for everyone.
We are on the lookout for highly experienced, passionate, and confident leaders who are ready to take the next step in their teaching career in Early Learning. Our client has high standards of care, and those joining their leadership team need to share and uphold the same standards.
The opportunity
Anila Recruitment is partnering with a highly regarded early learning service in the Southern Highlands. Leadership here is shared, not top-down: you'll own the educational side of the service while working alongside the Centre Director, who leads people and operations. Together you'll set the tone for the whole team.
- $100, 000 - $110, 000 + super ($50 - $55.60 p/h + super) - negotiable depending on experience and qualifications
- Off the floor position
- Join a reputable, premium Early Learning brand and drive high-quality curriculum
What you'll be doing
- Owning the curriculum: planning, implementing and evaluating programs grounded in EYLF V2.0 and built around each child's interests and strengths.
- Coaching educators through mentoring, modelling and reflective practice, and leading their professional learning.
- Driving quality and compliance across the NQF,
NQS and child safe standards.
- Championing inclusion so every child can belong, participate and thrive.
- Building strong partnerships with families and local early childhood and community networks.
- Stepping up as 2IC: supporting operations, team leadership and quality improvement, and leading the service when the Centre Director is away.
What you'll bring
- A Bachelor or Diploma in Early Childhood Education (ACECQA approved).
- Confident, current knowledge of EYLF V2.0, the NQF, the NQS and the Regulations.
- A track record in curriculum design, mentoring and continuous improvement.
- Warm, explicit communication and a firm commitment to child safety and family partnerships.
- A valid NSW Working with Children Check.
Why this role and company
- Real influence over pedagogy, with the backing of a collaborative leadership partner.
- A service with a strong reputation that invests in quality.
- A step towards Centre Director for leaders with that ambition.
- Access to ongoing professional development, training and learning opportunities
- Dedicated weekly Collaboration, Reflection and Planning Days for Early Childhood Teachers
- Financial and practical support for further study and professional growth.
- Regular team-building activities and opportunities to connect.
- Guidance and support from experienced, knowledgeable Directors.
- Access to a sector-leading mentorship program led by Early Childhood experts.
