- Communicating specialist-reviewed results and recommendations to patients.

- Responding to patient enquiries via telephone and email.

- Providing patient education, guidance and reassurance.

- Liaising closely with treating gastroenterologists and other healthcare providers.

- Maintaining accurate clinical records and patient communication notes.

About you

The successful candidate will:

- Possess sound clinical knowledge and assessment skills.

- Be confident working independently and exercising appropriate clinical judgement.

- Have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

- Naturally build rapport and trust with patients.

- Demonstrate empathy, professionalism and emotional intelligence.

- Be highly organised, methodical and detail-oriented.

- Have the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.

- Take ownership of responsibilities and follow matters through to completion.

- Be reliable, proactive and self-motivated.

- Be comfortable working in a busy specialist practice.

- Be willing to learn, contribute and grow with the practice.

Previous experience in gastroenterology, endoscopy, perioperative nursing, day surgery or pre-admission assessments will be highly regarded.

- Regular weekday hours, without night shifts or weekend work.

- A predominantly office-based role in Ashwood.

- Remuneration based on experience.

- The chance to work closely with experienced specialist gastroenterologists.

- A professional, supportive and collaborative working environment.
