Due to growth, Sandfire has an opening for a Technology Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of technology initiatives across Sandfire.

The Technology Project Manager will be responsible for managing small, medium and large, complex IT projects, including the selection and implementation of Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) solutions, while ensuring outcomes are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned to business objectives.

This position requires a versatile practitioner with demonstrated experience across Waterfall and Agile delivery methodologies, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to manage both internal cross-functional stakeholders and external vendors.

Responsibilities include buy are not limited to:

- Manage the full project lifecycle from initiation through to delivery and closure.
- Apply appropriate delivery methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, or Hybrid) based on project context.




- Ensure projects are delivered to scope, schedule, cost, and quality expectations.
- Lead procurement processes including RFI, RFP and RFT development, vendor engagement, evaluation and selection.
- Manage COTS implementation, including system configuration, integration, data migration and UAT.
- Develop detailed budgets, forecasts and cost models.
- Maintain RAID logs and proactively manage risks and issues.
- Manage stakeholders across business and IT functions.
- Manage third-party vendors and ensure delivery against contracts and SLAs.
- Drive change management, training and user adoption.

About you

- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business or related discipline and Project Management certification (PRINCE2, PMP or equivalent).
- Proven experience delivering complex IT projects in enterprise environments.
- Experience implementing COTS solutions (ERP, SaaS or similar).
- Experience managing RFI, RFP and RFT processes.
- Strong vendor and supplier management experience.
- Experience managing technical and non-technical teams.
- Experience with both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
