We're looking for experienced Underground Auto Electricians to join the crew at a gold mine start-up in the NT. The mine is opening its portal, getting the fleet running and setting up maintenance on a new site, and you'll be there from the start

The roster

- 14 days on, 14 days off
- 12-hour day shifts only
- Fly in and out of Perth on Wednesdays

The project

- High-grade gold orebody with a well-funded client behind it
- About 3,500m of decline over an estimated 14 months
- A clear path toward production mining if the project moves ahead
- Tier 1 underground contractor with projects across Australia

The role

- Workshop focus: PM work, scheduled maintenance, component change-outs, servicing and general repairs
- Breakdowns, fault finding and diagnostics
- Field service work, including drill servicing and maintenance
- Machines: Sandvik 421i and 422i drill rigs,



CAT 2900EX boggers, Epiroc trucks, Volvo IT loaders, Toyota Hilux LVs

What you'll bring

- Trade qualified in an Auto-Electrical Trade
- Cert II Air Conditioning
- Strong Electrical Systems knowledge in Heavy Machinery
- Ability to read schematics and drawings
- Ability to work autonomously, with a can-do attitude
- Underground hard rock equipment knowledge and drill servicing experience
- Dual trade Diesel Fitter/Auto Electricians are encouraged to apply

The camp

- Project village with ensuite rooms, TV and streaming
- Hot breakfast and dinner, with prepared for you to pack
- Gym, recreation centre, laundry and wet mess
- Wi-fi and Telstra coverage
- 20-30 minutes from the airstrip to camp
