Are you an organised events professional who enjoys turning ideas into clear plans and getting things underway?
We’re seeking an experienced Events Coordinator to join a well-established organisation in Moorabbin for an initial four-week temporary assignment, commencing ASAP.
Working closely with the Marketing Manager, your main focus will be progressing preparations for a large open house event taking place in April. You’ll help establish the plans, coordinate the moving parts and build momentum to ensure preparations are well underway.
This is a great opportunity for someone with professional event planning experience who can quickly get across a brief, take ownership of tasks and keep things moving. A marketing background would be highly regarded.
Key responsibilities

- Progressing the event plan, including timelines, key milestones and action lists
- Coordinating initial logistics and preparations for the April open house
- Liaising with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
- Sourcing information and quotes, and following up on outstanding actions




- Supporting event communications, invitations and promotional materials alongside the marketing team
- Tracking deadlines, approvals and priorities
- Keeping event documentation organised and providing a transparent handover at the end of the assignment

About you
You’ll bring:

- Experience planning and coordinating professional, corporate or large-scale events
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Confidence liaising with stakeholders and suppliers
- A proactive, practical approach and the ability to work independently
- Clear communication skills and confidence managing competing priorities
- Availability to commence ASAP for an initial four weeks

Experience in marketing or a role combining events and marketing would be a bonus.
Based in Moorabbin, you’ll join a supportive team and play an important part in setting a major event up for success.
