With continued investment in advanced manufacturing technology and expanded production capabilities, we are seeking an experienced Internal Sales / Estimator to join our growing team.

This is a hands on, customer focused role offering a competitive salary package and the opportunity to develop within an established WA owned business.

The Role

You will be responsible for reviewing technical enquiries, preparing accurate and competitive quotations for laser cutting and CNC press brake services, and managing customer requirements from initial enquiry through to order confirmation.

Working closely with our sales, programming and production teams, you will play an key role in maintaining customer relationships, securing new work and ensuring a smooth transition into production.

Key responsibilities include:

- Preparing accurate and competitive quotations for laser cutting and CNC press brake bending services

- Reviewing and interpreting engineering drawings, DXF files and technical specifications

- Estimating material requirements, processing times and manufacturing costs

- Managing customer enquiries, following up quotations and converting opportunities into orders

- Processing customer orders and maintaining accurate job and customer records





- Liaising with customers, suppliers and internal teams to confirm technical requirements and delivery expectations

- Identifying opportunities to improve quoting efficiency, customer service and sales performance

About You

- Proven estimating experience within laser cutting, sheet metal fabrication, steel processing or general engineering

- Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, DXF files and technical specifications

- Sound understanding of material grades, manufacturing processes and production costs

- Experience preparing accurate quotations and assessing manufacturing requirements

- Strong commercial awareness, attention to detail and problem-solving skills

- Excellent communication, organisational and customer service skills

- Ability to manage multiple enquiries and meet quoting deadlines

- Experience with CAD/CAM and manufacturing estimating software (highly regarded)
