About the role

DM Composites is seeking a motivated, organised, and experienced Project Manager to join our Sydney-based team. This position offers an opportunity to manage and deliver construction and infrastructure projects across Australia, including government and private sector developments. Based in our Sydney office, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing projects from tender handover through to practical completion, ensuring successful delivery within agreed timeframes, budgets, quality standards, and contractual requirements. The role involves a combination of office-based project management, regular site visits, subcontractor coordination, and direct communication with clients and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

- Plan, coordinate, and manage construction and infrastructure projects from commencement through to completion.
- Develop and maintain project programmes, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
- Oversee procurement, subcontractor engagement, and material deliveries.
- Monitor project performance against agreed budgets, milestones, and contractual obligations.
- Manage project costs, variations, progress claims, and financial forecasting.
- Identify project risks and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards.
- Conduct regular site visits across Sydney and interstate project locations.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to ensure efficient project delivery.
- Monitor construction activities, site progress, quality, and safety compliance.

About you

- Currently residing in Australia, with the ability to work from our Sydney office.
- Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or holder of valid Australian working rights.




- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in construction project management, civil infrastructure, or a related field.
- Robust understanding of construction methodologies, project scheduling, budgeting, and contract administration.
- Ability to independently coordinate and manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines.
- Ability to read and interpret technical construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
- Strong organisational, problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook, and Microsoft Project.
- Current Australian Driver's Licence.
