Roster: Local to Port Hedland or FIFO ex. Perth (8/8)

About the role
Category 5 Labour management is looking for experienced Electricians to join a leading mining operation as an Electrician specialising in ore car maintenance. You’ll work hands-on with I.D Modules (IDM) and ECPB electrical systems, performing testing, troubleshooting, routine maintenance, and circuit changeouts.
This role is critical to keeping station operations running safely and efficiently, with opportunities to work on complex electrical systems in a supportive, safety-focused environment.

Skills & experience

- WA Electrical Ticket & Electrical Trade Qualification
- Current Australian Driver’s License
- Provide First Aid CPR and LVR
- Construction White Card
- Ability to Pass a Category 1 Medical and Drug & Alcohol screening
- ECPB / I.D Modules Cable and Systems
- Experience with locomotive electrical systems (Highly Regarded)

Duties & responsibilities

- Circuit testing & Maintenance of Locomotive equipment
- 1SAP and Fiori maintenance systems experience for tracking and logging works completed




- Electrical circuit change outs whilst interpreting technical drawings
- Perform electrical maintenance, diagnostics and repairs as required with heavy focus on fault finding.
