About the role

We're looking for an experienced Stonemason to join our team in Yatala, Queensland. You'll cut, shape and install natural stone for residential and commercial projects. This is a full time role.

What you'll do

- Study plans, drawings and specifications to determine required materials, dimensions and installation procedures
- Cut, shape and polish hard and soft stone blocks and masonry slabs using machines and hand tools
- Fabricate and prepare stone components for benchtops, paving, cladding and architectural applications
- Install stone products on-site, including checking vertical and horizontal alignment
- Construct walls and structures using stone slabs and large masonry blocks
- Repair and maintain stone structures as required




- Keep your work area clean and safe in line with WHS requirements

About you
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as a Stonemason, or an AQF Certificate III in Stonemasonry (or equivalent)
- Proven experience working with natural stone such as marble, granite and travertine
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Proficiency with stone-cutting machinery and hand tools
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- White Card (Construction Induction) preferred
