About the Opportunity

As a Personal Care Worker with Churches of Christ Residential Aged Care at our Rockingham Aged Care service in Cardwell, you'll play an important role in supporting older Australians to live with dignity, comfort and purpose.

Working within our Positive Wellbeing Model of Care, you'll provide hands-on support that enhances residents' physical, emotional, social, cultural and spiritual wellbeing. You'll be part of a supportive and values-driven team where your care and compassion make a meaningful difference every day.

What you'll be responsible For

- Provide high-quality personal care and support with daily living activities, mobility, meals and social engagement.
- Support residents' emotional wellbeing while promoting dignity, choice and independence.
- Assist with the development and review of care plans and maintain accurate documentation and charting.
- Monitor resident wellbeing and promptly report changes to nursing and care leadership teams.
- Maintain a safe, clean, comfortable and welcoming environment for residents and visitors.
- Work collaboratively with Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and care colleagues to deliver person-centred care.

About you

You are a compassionate and reliable care professional who is passionate about supporting older people. You enjoy building meaningful relationships, working as part of a team and delivering high-quality care that enhances residents' quality of life.

You'll ideally bring:

Essential Requirements





- Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent qualification.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Intermediate computer skills, including experience using Outlook and electronic care systems.
- Current National Police Check, or willingness to obtain.
- Full working rights in Australia (we are unable to sponsor at this time).

Desirable Experience

- Experience working within residential aged care.
- Knowledge of person-centred care practices and aged care standards.
- Experience supporting residents with mobility, personal care and activities of daily living.
