Restora Medical Australia is an early-stage, venture-backed medical device company developing the next generation of neuromodulation therapy for obstructive sleep apnoea (OSA).

We’re looking for an experienced leader to advance our therapy through clinical trials, data analysis, publications, and patent filings, in collaboration with a fast-paced team in the United States.

This role requires significant clinical trial, translational, and commercial experience in implantable neuromodulation for OSA.

▪️ ???????? ????????: Design and conduct feasibility and pivotal clinical trials, including protocol development, budgets, training, execution, clinical study reports, and relationship management

▪️ ?????????? ???????: Develop regulatory strategy and author submissions (e.g. TGA, FDA pre-submission and IDE), clinical evaluation reports, risk management and labelling content, and lead agency and HREC interactions to secure approvals

▪️ ???? ???????? & ??????? ???????????: Analyse clinical and physiological signal data (including developing research software and analysis tools), define stimulation parameters, and translate findings into improvements in therapy delivery, device design, and next-generation therapies

Share findings through peer-reviewed publications and conference presentations that support therapy adoption

▪️ ???????????? ????????: File patent applications to protect our innovations

▪️ ?????????????: Partner with R&D; and clinical operations in Australia and the US to identify trends, areas for improvement, and field implementation

▪️ ????????: Support scientific training of new employees, physicians, and clinical study sites on study procedures

▪️ Master’s or PhD in biomedical engineering or a related field, with a focus on signals or neurostimulation and experience in respiratory disease or sleep apnoea

▪️ 10+ years’ experience taking implantable OSA neuromodulation therapies through feasibility and pivotal trials to regulatory approval (TGA and FDA)

▪️ Patent or publication track record, ideally in OSA

▪️ Experience supporting OSA neuromodulation implants in theatre, and follow-up in ENT and sleep clinics

▪️ Excellent communication and presentation skills

▪️ Australian Permanent Residency or Citizenship
