The role

Working directly with one of our partners, you will have ownership of commercial leasing work:

- Run your own files end to end and be the day-to-day contact for clients, including substantial family offices, developers, shopping centre owners, and industry leading business groups, including in the retail, hospitality, childcare and aged care sectors
- Advise on and draft leases, agreements for lease and related documents for landlords, tenants and developers
- Act on retail, commercial, shopping centre and development matters
- Negotiate with counterparties and escalate key issues to the partner
- Supervise and mentor our junior lawyers

About you





- 4+ years’ PQE with substantial leasing experience (shopping centre or development work is an advantage)
- Admitted in NSW with a current practising certificate
- Solid drafting and careful contract review
- Confident, commercial and comfortable owning client relationships
- Good judgement on when to run with a matter and when to bring in a partner
